The Northern Line

For a second safari, or travellers who want Kenya beyond the postcards. This route runs north through Laikipia's private conservancies — rhino tracking on foot, big cats and community conservation at its best — up over Mount Kenya on the Chogoria route, and down into Samburu for the dry-country species you see nowhere else.

Eleven nights of genuine wilderness, walking and driving, with far fewer vehicles than the south. It rewards a slower pace and a real curiosity about the land and its people — the most adventurous of our signature journeys.
