Every Romino Safaris safari is private. Your own Land Cruiser, your own guide, your own decision about when to leave camp and how long to sit with a leopard.

The river crossings

Between July and October the herds cross the Mara River. We camp within thirty minutes of the main crossing points and leave before dawn to be there first.

Conservancy camps

We stay in Naboisho, Olare Motorogi and Mara North rather than inside the reserve — off-road driving, night drives and walking safaris are all allowed, and the vehicle limit is real.

Balloon over the Mara

Lift off at 6am from the Talek, an hour above the plains as they wake, and a bush breakfast where you land. Booked well in advance in high season.
